The City of Moreno Valley is creating a Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Plan to give residents, employees, and businesses more choices for how they travel. This plan is focused on reducing single-occupant vehicle trips by expanding options like transit, carpooling, biking, walking, and telework. As Moreno Valley grows, new opportunities are emerging to connect people to jobs, schools, shopping, and recreation in more sustainable and affordable ways. The TDM Plan will help the City, businesses, and community partners work together to support mobility choices that benefit everyone.
Purpose of the TDM Plan
The City is undertaking this plan to:
- Provide more travel options beyond driving alone.
- Reduce congestion and improve mobility.
- Support sustainability, equity, and climate action goals.
- Help businesses attract and retain workers by supporting flexible commuting options.
